Local students earn awards at Kansas Junior Livestock Show (The McPherson Sentinel)

Area students recently competed in the Kansas Junior Livestock Show that was held Sept. 19-22 at the Kansas Coliseum in Wichita. The show featured 700 youth from 88 Kansas counties showing 1,210 head of livestock.

Anna A. Ross, 92 (Cook County News-Herald)

Anna Augusta Ross, age 92, of St. Cloud, MN, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 14, 2008 at Talahi Care Center in St. Cloud. Anna was born to August and Marie Fisher on January 11, 1916, in Newton, Kansas.
